Music has the power to uplift the spirit, inspire goodness and sensitivity, increase self esteem, open neural pathways, develop spatial awareness and fine co-ordination, express emotions in a positive way, explore creativity and have fun playing with others and solo

As a Suzuki Piano teacher living in the Byron Shire, my main focus is playing from the heart with a beautiful tone.  Starting young children with simple folk songs leads to  pieces by J.S.Bach, Mozart, Beethoven and so on. I also encourage them to create their own music and to  participate in workshops and concerts.  Adults also enjoy learning to play in a relaxed and fun environment.

With over 30 years experience teaching piano with Suzuki Talent Education I enjoy working with children and adults, knowing that they are stepping out into the world as confident, intelligent, caring and joyful human beings.
